Shoulder Instability
Restore strength, stability, and confidence in your shoulder.

Shoulder instability occurs when the joint becomes loose or repeatedly dislocates, often due to injury, overuse, or structural issues. This can lead to pain, weakness, and a feeling that the shoulder may “give out” during movement.
At Detroit Orthopaedic Institute, we evaluate each patient thoroughly to determine the root cause of instability. Treatment may begin with non-surgical options such as physical therapy and strengthening programs. For more severe or recurrent instability, advanced surgical procedures may be recommended to restore proper alignment and function.
Our goal is to help you return to daily activities and sports with confidence and long-term stability.
